Blu Capital Partners (BCP) is an entrepreneurial firm founded in 2019, during a peak transaction year but right before COVID impacted financial markets. BCP was borne out of a vision to offer high quality investment banking services to a dynamic business environment in Eastern Europe.
Note from BCP's Founder
Our founder, Tudor Mafteianu, comes from a background in global investment firms including AlpInvest Partners (The Carlyle Group), Rothschild and Intermediate Capital Group. After being involved in over 40 private investment transactions exceeding €2 billion in value, Tudor saw an untapped opportunity to offer Tier 1 investment banking advisory within Eastern Europe.
Opening doors in 2019 has given us a unique perspective point on the ebb and flow of making deals, empowering us to navigate effectively, think long-term, and to cultivate a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenge that mid-market transactions face.

Sergio Mandru, Partner at BCP focuses on the Energy & Infrastructure division, brings extensive mid-market expertise built over a career spanning Spain and beyond.
Sergio has advised on M&A transactions exceeding €300 million and corporate and project financings of more than €350 million across Spain, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, Colombia, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, and the Republic of Moldova.

Dragos Tudose, Partner at BCP focuses on the Energy & Infrastructure and the Corporate divisions. Dragos has led dozens of transactions with BCP and in his previous career in corporate banking.
Dragos has advised or contributed to transactions exceeding €500 million in both M&A and financing focused on Romanian mid-market companies and assets.
